Terms and Conditions

In collaboration with the SAMHE team, the Clean Air Champions team is offering participating schools with connected SAMHE monitors the chance to win an opportunity for staff and pupils to receive a school visit by one of the Clean Air Champions.

You can enter the competition by completing the poster activity on the SAMHE Web App and submitting your poster to the following email address: contact@ukcleanair.org by September 27th with the email subject title “Clean Air Day Poster Competition”. Teachers should submit the poster on behalf of students. You can do this by scanning or taking a photo of the poster and including this image as an email attachment along with the name and location of your school. If submitting multiple posters, name the files to indicate who produced each one (use team names or pseudonyms – don’t include the actual names of pupils).

Judging will happen in two stages. In stage 1, submissions will be grouped into 7 regions and one poster from each region will be selected by that region’s Clean Air Champion to go forward to stage 2. The shortlisted posters from the different regions will enter Stage 2, in which one overall winner will be chosen jointly by the Clean Air Champions.

Eligibility to enter

  • The competition is open to all schools participating in SAMHE which have SAMHE indoor air quality monitors connected and sending data as of 20th June 2024
  • The competition is free to enter.
  • Posters should illustrate a key message about air quality or share something pupils have learnt through SAMHE.
  • All posters must be submitted to the above email address by 27th September 2024 to be entered into the competition.
